Greetings!
If you’ve just arrived at this web site you’re either:
a) a current member of the club looking for embarrassing photos of yourself (hello!)
b) looking for Oakville ICE hockey (you’re out of luck here)
c) looking for THE most social mixed field hockey club in the Greater Toronto Area – you’ve found it.

We are a mixed (gender, age, ability, sanity) field hockey club based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, The World; just to the west of Toronto. Current members reside all across the GTA and out to Hamilton and Kitchener – see CAR POOL link.
Players originally from Europe, Asia, Africa and Australasia have joined their Canadian colleagues and given the club a true intenational feel.
Players are of mixed abilities ranging from those who are revisiting the sport they enjoyed in school, all the way through to the odd ex-international.
The club meets every Tuesday evening, all year round. During the summer season (May – September) we play at the Astroturf pitch at Appleby College, Oakville (on the shores of Lake Ontario, pictured above) 6.45pm - dusk, while during winter (October – April) we play indoor rules at a local gym at Sherwood Forest Gym, Burlington, 8pm – 10pm.
Normally we play 2 separate games each Tuesday night, with the less experienced players in one game structured to help players develop / remember skills, while the experienced players partake in a separate game in a more competitive environment.
The social element of the club is apparent every week courtesy of the Qbs Sports Bar, where we congregate each Tuesday after the game, and lie through our teeth about how good we used to be / will be next week. Less frequent but equally enjoyable are the summer Bar-B-Qs and winter ski/board days on the local slopes.
